At Victory Child Development Center, our preschool program provides a safe, nurturing environment where children grow, learn, and thrive. Through age-appropriate curriculum, structured play, and loving care, we support each child’s development during the most important early years.

Victory Preschool

Our Preschool Program prepares children for kindergarten through a balance of structured learning and play. With a focus on early literacy, math readiness, and physical, social, and emotional development, our caring teachers help children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning in a safe, supportive environment.

At around one year old, toddlers are learning to explore and communicate in exciting new ways.

•  Movement: Pulls to stand, cruises furniture, and may begin taking first steps

•  Communication: Uses sounds, gestures, and a few simple words to express needs

• Social Skills: Shows attachment to caregivers, enjoys interaction and simple games

Two-year-olds are becoming more independent, curious, and expressive every day.

• Movement: Runs, climbs, and kicks a ball with growing coordination

•  Language: Uses simple phrases and short sentences to communicate wants and needs

• Social Skills: Begins playing alongside others, shows emotions, and practices independence

Three-year-olds are gaining confidence, creativity, and independence.

• Communication: Speaks in full sentences and can express thoughts and feelings

•  Movement: Runs, jumps, climbs, and begins pedaling or balancing

•  Social Skills: Plays with other children, takes turns, and follows simple routines

Four-year-olds are building strong social skills, imagination, and confidence.

•  Language: Tells stories, asks questions, and speaks clearly

• Motor Skills: Uses scissors, draws shapes, and shows better coordination

•  Social Skills: Plays cooperatively, follows rules, and expresses emotions appropriately

VPK prepares children for kindergarten by building confidence, independence, and early academic skills.

• Early Learning: Recognizes letters and numbers, follows directions, and begins problem-solving

•  Communication: Speaks clearly, asks questions, and expresses ideas in complete sentences

•  Social Readiness: Works well in groups, follows routines, and manages emotions appropriately

Our before and aftercare program provides a safe, structured, and fun environment outside of school hours.

• Morning and Afternoon Care: Calm activities, and  breakfast and afternoon snack, and outdoor activities.

• Pick up and Drop off: From Westgate Elementary. Drop in care during holidays and school closures.

• Supportive Environment: Encourages independence, responsibility, and social skills
